To know Timmy is to love Timmy. He’s full of life and love and has never said an unkind word to anyone. I’ve seen him upset once. It took me a couple of minutes to talk him out of my powder room. He then attached himself to me in a tight embrace. There we stayed for the next 10 minutes or so with Timmy pulling my head tight to his shoulder. What a great conflict management technique. It’s been months since Timmy sat for me so when I heard I might see him at my house up went a couple of Speedlights.
At first I only thought I had one usable image because I was thinking too straight. Then I realized how animated Timmy was being and just how cool that was. It looks as if he’s being interviewed about his latest novel and he’s discussing it with great passion.
The image that is most touching to me is the one with his mother’s hand on his forehead. You see all this energy and animation but then all is quiet as he drinks in his mother’s touch.
