My name is Steve Glass and I am a photographer. I come from a musical background and majored in guitar at College. Having a musician’s work ethic I study and practice photography constantly the same as I did guitar. I constantly strive to be the best photographer I can be. But learning how to produce good exposures and do some nice post processing is the baseline skill set.

The real challenge is capturing how we feel about our loved ones. It’s a very subjective and alluring goal. Yet that is how I approach my portraiture. An image has to be about something in my opinion. What is it about your loved one that you think of? Perhaps their eyes? Their smile? A special look they give you? This is what makes portraiture an art. This kind of work takes time and it doesn’t happen in a business that is volume based. It happens when a skilled photographer with great people skills purposely sets out to produce something special and memorable.

My business model is often referred to as “boutique photography”. I like that term because it conveys the highly personalized service and meticulous work I strive to provide. There is a bit of “magic” that needs to happen in a session. That is hard to create seeing more than just a couple of clients a day. My work is about a highly customized, intimate, experience that produces painstaking & exquisitely produced portraits. One-of-a-kind works of art.
The setting doesn’t matter to me. Whether it’s your house, my studio, a horse barn, or a park. I’m a student of light and my job is to realize your goals no matter the setting. You may hear talk of “natural light vs studio”. This is really immaterial to someone who knows their craft. A good photographer knows how to produce great images in any situation. Additive lighting is often needed or simply preferred. Sometimes nothing is needed.
Why should you hire me? Because I guarantee I will deliver portraits you will cherish year after year. Work that you will gladly come back for as you and your loved ones mature through life. Sessions where you and yours will feel relaxed, respected, and cared for. Images that speak about those intangible qualities that make your loved ones unique. I know how important animals can be to a family so I include the fur skinned children in family portraiture too. Not just in the family portrait but pet portraits.
All work requires a consultation, is guaranteed, & meticulously crafted. I’m committed to excellence and your satisfaction. Feel free to e-mail or call me at 770-374-6311
